Poached egg a la Julia Child

I just rented Julie and Julia....good flick! And my mom got me the Julia Child cookbook for Christmas. I decided to make Julia's poached egg. No, I'm not going to go and make every single recipe out of the book and then write a blog that turns into a book that turns into a movie. Just a poached egg for now.

Sometimes I like to have a side of spinach with my eggs. And a side of jam. I like to represent lots of colors on the plate.
